Facilities - The clubhouse has all the facilities you expect from a quality golf club catering for almost 800 members. Arriving at the club there is a car park for 200 cars adjacent to the clubhouse. The members lounge is the most popular area and has ready access to the well stocked bar. The Clubhouse resembles a gentlemen’s club or English pub with a polished wood bar as a centerpiece and seating for 100 people.

A casual bar with upholstered chairs and television is an alternative which is well used by golfers as a half way watering hole or for a leisurely drink before heading home.

An outside patio facing due south extends the length of the building in front of the members lounge and casual bar, the view is magnificent overlooking the 9^th and 18^th green with Gosfield Lake in the distance, when the weather is fine this patio is very popular with members and visitors.

A separate dining room with a seating capacity of 60 for groups dining in private with full waitress service, completes the downstairs facilities.

A separate room on the first floor of the Clubhouse has capacity for 80 people and a balcony overlooking the golf course. Visitors can relax or work with wonderful views of the Essex countryside.

Location - Gosfield is well located at the centre of East Anglia and is 30 minutes from Colchester Chelmsford or Stansted, and a little over 1 hour from Ipswich or London (traffic permitting)  Enjoy a productive meeting in comfortable surroundings and afterwards a challenging round on the championship 18 hole course to clear the head far from the noise and stress of everyday life.

Functions - Banqueting facilities are available, for weddings, anniversaries company training or company celebrations. If you are responsible for organizing a function you are welcome to visit and discuss your requirements with our steward.

Our steward & chef can discuss dining requirements and can offer everything from a gourmet feast or our famous carvery or special dietary meals. Our barstaff and restaurant staff ensure that everything will be done to make your special day a success.

 Should you wish for your celebrations to take place on Saturdays it is essential to book well in advance. Friday night is also popular and arrangements will need to be made well before the date. Other dates can be booked nearer the date but is always subject to availability as club members have a full social programme throughout the year.
